<dc:title>FASTA assembly file and annotation file of Hylyphantes graminicola</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.11922/sciencedb.01162</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>FASTA assembly file and annotation file of Hylyphantes graminicola were saved in this dataset. A &amp;quot;.gz&amp;quot; file of genome assembly and a GFF file of annotation were included.&amp;nbsp;Long-reads (PacBio), short-reads (Illumina), and Hi-C technology were used to produce the near chromosome-level genome of&amp;nbsp;the sheet-web spider, Hylyphantes graminicola&amp;nbsp;(Linyphiidae). We mainly used software Nextdenovo v2.2 and NextPolish v1.1 to assemble the genome. We applied three strategies for gene structure prediction across the genome: homology-based annotation, de novo prediction, and RNAseq-based annotation. Obtaining high-quality chromosome-level genomes from spiders not only facilitates&amp;nbsp;venom research and toxin resource application,&amp;nbsp;but also can improve comparative genomic analysis in other important traits, like the evolution of silk or behavior.</dc:description>
