2022-03-17 Skin microbiome interferes with microbes on office surfaces doi:10.11922/sciencedb.01595 en A total of 40 healthy people (20 males and 20 females) from an office located in Xiamen city, Fujian, China (24°36’ N, 118°03’E) were selected for study and swabs were taken from their keyboard, mouse, surrounding dust and all ten fingers. Dust samples from the office environment were taken as being representative of deposited aerosols. Bacterial 16S rRNA genes and fugal ITS2 regions were amplified using the primer set of 338F/806R and ITS7/ITS4, respectively.
