2026-08-31 A dataset of pathogenicity profiles and ORF5 sequence metadata for PRRSV L1B strains doi:10.57760/sciencedb.0105e en Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) is an important swine pathogen causing significant economic losses worldwide. This dataset contains raw pathogenicity experimental data and ORF5 sequence metadata of PRRSV strains used for comparative analysis. The dataset includes two Excel files. The first file, PRRSV_L1B_pathogenicity_raw_data.xlsx, contains raw experimental measurements associated with the pathogenicity evaluation of PRRSV L1B strains, including body temperature changes, body weight changes, viral load detection, tissue viral loads, and antibody responses. The second file, PRRSV_ORF5_sequence_metadata.xlsx, provides metadata information of PRRSV ORF5 sequences collected from the NCBI GenBank database, including accession numbers, strain names, geographical origins, collection dates, genotype classification, and lineage information. These datasets provide valuable resources for studying the genetic diversity, evolutionary relationships, and pathogenic characteristics of PRRSV L1B strains.
