2026-09-02 Raw Survey Data for the Study on the Impact of Professional Course Utility Value on Learning Engagement doi:10.57760/sciencedb.010ln en This dataset is derived from a questionnaire survey of 686 civil engineering vocational college students in Central China, investigating the mechanism through which professional course utility value influences learning engagement. The data include measurements of five core variables: Professional Course Utility Value (3 items), Learning Engagement (4 items), Professional Identity (4 items), Self-Efficacy (4 items), and Perceived Social Support (3 items), totaling 18 measurement items. Demographic information (gender, grade, hometown, major type), response duration, and an instructional manipulation check item are also included. All data have been anonymized and contain no personally identifiable information.
