<dc:description>This dataset provides the supporting experimental data for the manuscript entitled “Effects of Natural Litter on Hillslope Runoff-Sediment Yield and Runoff Hydrodynamics.” The data were obtained from field simulated rainfall experiments conducted in a Cyclobalanopsis glauca secondary forest in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, China. Runoff plots with litter-retained and litter-removed conditions were established under different natural litter biomass backgrounds. Simulated rainfall experiments were conducted at intensities of 25, 50, and 75 mm·h⁻¹. The dataset includes hillslope runoff and sediment yield process data as well as runoff hydrodynamic parameters under different rainfall intensities and litter conditions. These data support the analyses of hillslope runoff-sediment responses and runoff hydrodynamic characteristics reported in the manuscript.</dc:description>
