<dc:title>Dataset of electrochemical corrosion for special materials in marine environments</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.011l8</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset falls within the fields of marine materials corrosion and electrochemistry and systematically compiles electrochemical corrosion data for representative marine special materials, including TiC-based cermets, WC-based cemented carbides, Ni-based alloys, Ti-based alloys, and Ti-modified duplex stainless steels. The dataset contains both structured parameter data and continuous electrochemical curve data. The Excel database consists of seven worksheets and approximately 532,000 valid data entries, covering different material compositions, processing states, temperatures, hydrostatic pressures, immersion times, and electrolyte conditions. The dataset can be used for comparative evaluation of corrosion resistance across different material systems, analysis of environmental effects on corrosion behaviour, and investigation of passive-film and interfacial electrochemical mechanisms. It can also serve as a data resource for materials informatics and machine learning, enabling the establishment of quantitative composition&amp;ndash;environment&amp;ndash;corrosion property relationships and the development of predictive models for corrosion performance.</dc:description>
