<dc:title>Data for Experimental and Numerical Investigation of the Thermohydrodynamic Characteristics of Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.011s6</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset supports an experimental and numerical investigation of flow and heat transfer during closed-abdomen hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). The data were generated using an anatomically simplified abdominal phantom derived from female medical imaging data. Perfusion experiments and numerical simulations were performed under multiple flow rates and two opposing perfusion configurations, namely left inlet/right outlet and right inlet/left outlet. The deposited files include [raw time-resolved temperature measurements], [processed temperature data], [numerical-model input parameters], [predicted temperature and flow fields], and [source data underlying the figures and tables]. The principal variables include perfusion time, flow rate, perfusion direction, measurement location, temperature, velocity and the derived metrics used to evaluate heating performance, measurement-point coverage and spatial temperature uniformity. File definitions, units, experimental conditions and data-processing procedures are provided in the accompanying README and data dictionary. The dataset can be used to reproduce comparisons among the tested perfusion conditions and to evaluate flow-dependent thermal behavior in the phantom. It should not be interpreted as clinical patient data or as evidence of clinically optimal HIPEC parameters. In addition, the numerical flow fields were not directly validated experimentally and should therefore be interpreted as model predictions.</dc:description>
