2026-09-09 Parental analysis of Chinese Sturgeon offspring derived from natural reproduction induced in a simualated spawning environment under controlled conditions doi:10.57760/sciencedb.011u0 en For this experiment, genomic DNA was extracted from the parental and offspring Chinese sturgeon specimens using an animal tissue genomic DNA extraction kit. All DNA samples were subjected to amplification and sequencing of the core sequence from the mitochondrial control region (D-loop), yielding a 655 bp core sequence. Using 19 pairs of Chinese sturgeon-specific microsatellite primers, the DNA samples from both the parental and offspring populations were amplified; the PCR products were then analyzed by fluorescent capillary electrophoresis on an ABI 3730XL sequencer to obtain genotyping data. The data were presented as the mitochondrial control region (D-loop) base sequence and a microsatellite genotype frequency table.
