<dc:title>Spatial transcriptomic dataset of human peripheral nerve following traumatic injury</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.011wo</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>Traumatic peripheral nerve injury frequently results in abnormal regeneration and traumatic neuroma, which contribute to persistent neuropathic pain. However, spatially resolved molecular characteristics of human injured peripheral nerve remain insufficiently characterized. Here, we generated a spatial transcriptomic dataset from human peripheral nerve, including a relatively normal nerve sample and an injured nerve sample that collected at two weeks after injury. Spatial transcriptomic libraries were constructed using the CelAtlas Spatial platform and sequenced using the GeneMind SURFSeq 5000 platform. The dataset includes raw sequencing files, spatial expression matrices, sample metadata, and processed analysis files. This resource provides spatial molecular profiles of human injured peripheral nerve and may support investigations of cellular organization, immune responses, extracellular matrix remodeling, and molecular alterations associated with peripheral nerve injury, traumatic neuroma formation, and neuropathic pain.</dc:description>
