2026-09-11 Snow Depth Dataset for the Altay Region doi:10.57760/sciencedb.0123t en This dataset provides daily in-situ snow depth measurements for the Altay region, geographically bounded between 44°–55°N and 80°–100°E. The temporal coverage spans from January 2019 to May 2025, comprising continuous observational records collected from 88 standard ground-based meteorological stations distributed across the study area. To generate this dataset, daily meteorological observation records for the target stations were initially extracted from historical archives based on the defined spatial boundaries. Using standard data processing scripts, the specific snow depth parameter was isolated for each station and date. Invalid or missing data points inherent in the original archives were rigorously cleaned or appropriately flagged to ensure overall data quality.
