<dc:title>RNA-seq dataset of rice (Oryza sativa) under combined uranium stress and nutrient deficiency</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.0123z</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>Rice (Oryza sativa) is an important food crop. Uranium (U) contamination and nutrient deficiencies (such as Ca, Fe, Zn, etc.) are two important environmental factors affecting its growth and development. To explore the molecular response mechanism under the combined action of these two stresses, we conducted this transcriptome study. This study set up [normal nutrition control group (CK), single deficiency treatment groups (-Ca, -Zn), double element treatment groups (Zn, Fe), single uranium stress group (U), deficiency/ double element + uranium stress combined treatment groups (-Zn+U, -Ca+U, Zn+U, Fe+U)], with 3 biological replicates for each treatment. When the rice seedlings grew to the seedling stage, 25 &amp;mu;M concentration of uranium and/or deficiency treatments were applied. Seven days after the treatment, total RNA was extracted from the rice roots, and libraries were constructed. Sequencing was performed using platforms such as Illumina NovaSeq 6000 in both ends. This dataset contains the raw sequencing data of all samples, which can be used to analyze differentially expressed genes, enriched pathways, and explore the cross-response gene networks of uranium stress and nutrient deficiency stress. These data provide a basic resource for understanding the adaptation mechanism of rice under combined adversity, and help to further explore candidate genes related to heavy metal tolerance and efficient nutrient utilization.</dc:description>
