<dc:title>Oxidative stress and ion-regulatory indices in rare minnow (Gobiocypris rarus) and juvenile Chinese sucker (Myxocyprinus asiaticus) following 14 d exposure to NaF and KCl.</dc:title>

<dc:description>This dataset is derived from a 14 day subchronic toxicity experiment of sodium fluoride (NaF) and potassium chloride (KCl) on two representative fish species in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River - the rare Gobiocypris rarus (juvenile and adult) and Myxocyprinus asiaticus (juvenile). The data covers the detection results of reactive oxygen species (ROS), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), malondialdehyde (MDA), and Na ⁺/K ⁺ - ATPase (NKA) in the brain tissue, liver tissue (adult/juvenile), and overall homogenate (juvenile) of each tested fish after exposure, and are expressed as mean ± standard error (Mean ± SEM). The experimental concentration settings refer to the "Environmental Quality Standards for Surface Water" (GB 3838-2002): NaF is set at three concentrations of 0.4, 2, and 10 mg/L, KCl is set at four concentrations of 10, 50, 250, and 500 mg/L, and a blank control group is also set up. Rare crucian carp adult fish were tested separately for males and females, while juvenile fish and rouge fish were not differentiated by gender. The data file format is Microsoft Excel (. xlsx), which includes multiple worksheets, and each detection indicator is summarized in table form. This dataset and academic paper 'Acute extrapolation bias of fluoride subchronic toxicity threshold: implications for risk assessment of fish in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River' 》Related to the Journal of Ecotoxicology, it can serve as a fundamental data reference for fish toxicology, oxidative stress mechanisms, and water quality benchmark research. </dc:description>
