<dc:description>This project aims to investigate the cellular heterogeneity and transcriptomic landscape of peripheral blood from pediatric patients with asthma compared to healthy controls using single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq). Peripheral blood samples were collected from six children, including three asthma patients and three non-asthmatic controls. Single-cell suspensions were prepared and processed on a droplet-based scRNA-seq platform to profile the transcriptomes of individual cells, including immune cell populations such as T cells, B cells, monocytes, NK cells, and dendritic cells. The resulting data will enable the identification of cell-type-specific gene expression signatures, differentially expressed genes, and altered cellular compositions and signaling pathways associated with pediatric asthma. This dataset provides a valuable resource for understanding the systemic immune microenvironment in asthmatic children and may facilitate the discovery of potential diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Raw sequencing data and processed expression matrices will be deposited to support reproducibility and reuse by the research community.</dc:description>
