2026-09-28 Time-Series Age Dataset of Rubber Plantations in China (1987–2022) doi:10.57760/sciencedb.0139v en This dataset provides annual 30 m stand-age maps of rubber plantations in China from 1987 to 2022. The maps were reconstructed using Landsat time-series analysis, an improved Bi-directional Continuous Change Detection and Classification (BCDC) algorithm, handheld laser scanning (HLS)-derived plot height, and a four-parameter logistic height–age model. The dataset captures the spatial and temporal dynamics of rubber plantation age, including different age classes and their distributions across major rubber-producing regions and environmental gradients. Validation yielded an RMSE of 2.95 years and an rRMSE of 23.64%. The dataset supports research on rubber plantation dynamics, land-use change, productivity, carbon accumulation, and ecological management.
