<dc:description>This dataset comprises experimental data from a randomized controlled study on a digital dissemination and healing system for the Dolan dance (a national intangible cultural heritage of China originating in Makit and Awat counties, Xinjiang), corresponding to the paper "Designing an Intangible Cultural Heritage Dissemination and Healing System Based on the 'Embodiment-Driven Interactive Learning and Digital-Intelligent Experience' Model: A Case Study of the Dolan Dance". Forty-eight participants aged 18–45 with no prior Dolan dance background were recruited and randomly assigned to three equal groups (n = 16 each): the experimental group (E) used the digital interactive system (cultural exhibition + movement experience + assessment game + VR bonfire social scene), control group 1 (C1) received in-person teaching from a provincial-level inheritor, and control group 2 (C2) learned via video. All groups received a 4-week intervention (3 sessions per week, 25 minutes per session). The workbook contains four worksheets: (1) Table 3 Raw Data — core movement accuracy (%) of the Dolan dance for the three groups (pretest M0 and post-intervention M, 48 records); (2) Table 4 Raw Data — Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) scores for the three groups (pretest M0 and post-intervention M, 48 records); (3) Table 6 Lostness — lostness metrics (total pages visited S, distinct pages N, optimal-path pages R, and lostness L) of six typical users across three standardized tasks (movement experience, assessment game, VR interaction); (4) Recomputed Statistics — descriptive and inferential statistics recomputed from the raw data (pre/post means, post SD, percentage change, paired t values, p values, and significance per group). Informed consent was obtained from all participants, and the data have been anonymized with no personally identifiable information.</dc:description>
