2026-09-28 Global real-time topographic shadow and daily geographic sunshine hours maps under clear-sky conditions doi:10.57760/sciencedb.013fl en This dataset provides global real-time TS and daily GSH data at a spatial resolution of 500 m for four representative days in 2020: the vernal equinox, summer solstice, autumnal equinox, and winter solstice. The data are stored in GeoTiff files with embedded geographic and temporal metadata, comprising a total of 20 files. The real-time TS dataset includes observations at 0, 6, 12, and 18 h UTC for each of the four days, resulting in 16 files, while the daily GSH dataset contains one file for each day, resulting in four files. All data are stored as 16-bit integers; TS is dimensionless, whereas GSH is expressed in hours (h).
