The dataset records the location, time, environment, and coastal development related variables of dolphin sightings in the wild, which are used to distinguish the actual distribution and habitat preferences of species, quantify the reshaping effect of human development activities such as coastal engineering and shoreline reconstruction on the utilization pattern of endangered dolphin habitats.
