<dc:description>FTIR spectra of CMP were collected using a spectrometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Madison, WI, USA) according to the method of Zhao et al. [8]. Freeze-dried CMP was mixed thoroughly with KBr at a mass ratio of 1:100 (CMP: KBr, w/w) and compressed into pellets before measurement. Spectral acquisition was performed at 25 ℃ over the range of 4000–400 cm⁻¹ with 16 scans at a resolution of 4 cm⁻¹. After processing with OMNIC 8.0, the amide I region was fitted using PeakFit 4.12 to estimate the relative proportions of secondary structural components.</dc:description>
