  <dc:title>Western Yugur Two-Speaker Parallel Lexical Speech Dataset</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.013yi</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>In order to preserve and standardize the vocabulary and phonetic data of the Yugur language in the western region, this study is based on survey materials from Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, Gansu Province, and constructs a parallel vocabulary and phonetic dataset of dual speakers in the Yugur language in the western region. The dataset includes 6140 WAV recordings of two female native speakers of Yugur language in the western region, indexed by the unified survey term 1-3070. Each speaker has 3070 recordings, and all 3070 terms form a complete parallel pair of dual speakers. The audio technology specifications are unified as 44.1kHz, 16 bit, mono, uncompressed PCM format, with a total duration of 4.696h. The final data package consists of two audio folders, &amp;quot;Old Girl Vocabulary Recording&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;Green Girl Vocabulary Recording&amp;quot;, and six XLSX tables, with a data volume of approximately 1.49GB. During the sorting process, consistent terms from the two language information templates were used as a unified index, and three vocabulary and annotation tables were cross checked. The final WAV directory was used to verify the numbering, unified term names, actual file names, relative paths, duration, and audio technology parameters one by one. The verification results indicate that the word item numbers of the two speakers continuously cover 1-3070, without missing numbers, duplicate numbers, or out of range numbers; 6140 WAV files can be read normally, and the file name, relative path, actual duration, and technical parameters are consistent with the final metadata one by one. This dataset can provide basic data for the preservation of Western Yugur vocabulary phonetics, cross pronunciation comparison under unified word items, manual listening and subsequent transcription annotation, as well as digital organization of ethnic language resources.&amp;nbsp;</dc:description>
