2026-09-29 anonymized data doi:10.57760/sciencedb.013z8 en This dataset contains de-identified survey responses from 1,335 vocational nursing students recruited from three vocational colleges in Sichuan Province, China, between October 2024 and January 2025. The data were collected using a stratified cluster sampling design. The dataset includes demographic variables (gender, age, only-child status, single-parent family status) and responses to three validated instruments: the Mobile Phone Addiction Index (MPAI, 17 items), the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale–21 (DASS-21, 21 items), and a 12-item Chinese revised Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale (CIPS). The dataset supports research examining the mediating role of negative emotions in the relationship between the impostor phenomenon and mobile phone addiction among vocational nursing students. All responses are anonymous and contain no personally identifiable information. The dataset is accompanied by a codebook describing variable names, coding schemes, dimension scoring, and the MPAI screening criteria for problematic mobile phone use.
