<dc:title>Dataset of Temperature and Precipitation over the Major Belt and Road Initiative Regions Under Different Temperature Rise Targets</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.01850</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset is mainly focus on&amp;nbsp;the major&amp;nbsp;areas of the &amp;quot;the Belt and Road&amp;quot;, including 12&amp;deg;S-72&amp;deg;N and 18&amp;deg;W- 148&amp;deg;E, covering most of Asia, Europe and North Africa. This&amp;nbsp;dataset contains 4 models&amp;nbsp;and multi-model ensemble averages and 5 meteorological variables. The 4&amp;nbsp;models are ACCESS 1-3、CESM1-BGC、CMCC-CM&amp;nbsp;and MIROC5. The 5&amp;nbsp;variables are maximum temperature, minimum temperature, average temperature, diurnal temperature range&amp;nbsp;precipitation, with a spatial resolution of about 0.05 &amp;deg; and a temporal resolution at annual. The time period of this&amp;nbsp;dataset is the historical period (1986-2005) and the years&amp;nbsp;of 1.5 ℃ -3 ℃ temperature rise targets under the RCP8.5 emissions scenario. Notely, the temperature rise period is centered on the year of 1.5&amp;deg;C, 2&amp;deg;C and 3℃ temperature rise targets&amp;nbsp;for a window of 11 years .&amp;nbsp; The data&amp;nbsp;format is NetCDF.</dc:description>
