2023-02-23 Fucose Promotes Intestinal Stem Cell Mediated Intestinal Epithelial Development through Promoting Akkermansia-related Propanoate Metabolism doi:10.57760/sciencedb.07487 en  To investigate the effects of fucose on ISCs mediated intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) development, we administrated mice with fucose for 4 weeks. ISCs stemness, IECs proliferation and differentiation were examined. Variation of gut microbe and metabolism were detected by 16S rDNA sequencing and metabolomics analysis. Fucose was added into the culture medium of bacteria to further study its effects on the metabolism.
