2023-05-10 Efficacy Comparison of Topical Liposomal Amphotericin B and Topical Clotrimazole in Treatment of Pityriasis Versicolor; A Single-blind Trial doi:10.57760/sciencedb.08083 en The primary outcomes measured in this study were defined in terms of mycologic cure and clinical cure at the end of treatment course. Therefore, this study aims to compare efficacy of topical liposomal amphotericin B versus clotrimazole cream in tinea versicolor treatment.This single-blind randomized clinical trial recruited 44 patients, between 15 to 70 years, who were randomly allocated into amphotericin and clotrimazole groups. Prior to patients' enrolment, the trial was registered at Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials on 7th March 2022.
