2024-07-08 2022 Pakistan Floods Media Coverage Data set doi:10.57760/sciencedb.09870 en The data comprises of news articles from Pakistan and USA media outlets covering the 2022 Pakistan floods between August and December 2022. The selected media are from six news outlets in Pakistan and six news outlets from USA. The news articles were collected from Lexis Nexus and Google search. The data was collected using key words - Pakistan floods’ and ‘climate change’ and contained articles with more than 200 words. The themes and dimensions studied in the data set are Ecological (Climate Change and impacts on the Ecosystem), Scientific (Climate Science), and Societal (Causes of and Solutions to Climate Change, Climate Politics, Awareness and Education, Impacts on Humans, and Economic Impacts).
