<dc:title>Wideband Electromagnetic Pulse Detector (WEMPD) example waveforms, physical parameters, and global geographical distributions</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.19077</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>Abstract: This data set contains two types of WEMPD data. 1) The first are time domain waveforms of three events with the sample band of 25&amp;mdash;75 MHz and the sample rate of 160 MHz. 2) The second type is physical parameters, and global geographical distributions of WEMPD events.Data set 1:Consists of three files. Each file contains a header with the WEMPD event time in UTC+8, the sample band of 25&amp;mdash;75 MHz, the sample rate of 160 MHz, the sliding window 320 samples, and the sliding step size 304 samples. Data following the header are time-frequency distribution of the electric field in 10log10(V2/m2/Hz).Filenames are:WTIPP_waveform_20231116_073826.784289706.xlsxNTIPP_waveform_20230923_071911.320368156.xlsxNTISP_waveform_20230731_174408.358741681.xlsxData set 2:Consists of three files. Filenames are:WTIPPs_physical parameters_locations.xlsxNTIPPs_physical parameters_locations.xlsxNTISPs_physical parameters_locations.xlsxWTIPPs and NTIPPs have the same header file. Columns are:1.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;UTC+8 yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss2.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Second3.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;TEC obtained by &amp;lsquo;dechirping&amp;rsquo; (electrons/m2, tec_dec in header)4.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Peak power of the first pulse in TIPP (V2/m2, peak_power_1 in header)5.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Peak power of the second pulse in TIPP (V2/m2, peak_power_2 in header)6.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Time separation in TIPP (second, intra-pair separation in header)7.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Pulse energy ratio in TIPP (dimensionless, pulse energy ratio in header)8.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Full-width-half-maximum of the first pulse in TIPP (second, pulse_width_1)9.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Full-width-half-maximum of the second pulse in TIPP (second, pulse_width_2)10.&amp;nbsp;Latitude of the satellite (degrees, sat_lat in header)11.&amp;nbsp;Longitude of the satellite (degrees, sat_lon in header)12.&amp;nbsp;Altitude of the satellite (degrees, sat_alt in header)13.&amp;nbsp;Latitude of the event determined by the MSDN-CAL method (degrees, MSDN_CAL_lat in header)14.&amp;nbsp;Longitude of the event determined by the MSDN-CAL method (degrees, MSDN_CAL_lon in header)15.&amp;nbsp;Altitude of the event determined by the MSDN-CAL method (degrees, MSDN_CAL_alt in header)16.&amp;nbsp;Distance between the two when the satellite records the event (km, range_sat_event in header)17.&amp;nbsp;Effective radiated power of the first pulse in TIPP (W, ERP in header)For NTISPs, Columns are:1.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;UTC+8 yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss2.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Second3.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;TEC obtained by &amp;lsquo;dechirping&amp;rsquo; (electrons/m2, tec_dec in header)4.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Peak power of the pulse (V2/m2, peak_power in header)5.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Full-width-half-maximum of the pulse (second, pulse_width)6.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Latitude of the satellite (degrees, sat_lat in header)7.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Longitude of the satellite (degrees, sat_lon in header)8.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Altitude of the satellite (degrees, sat_alt in header)9.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Latitude of the event determined by the MSDN-CAL method (degrees, MSDN_CAL_lat in header)10.&amp;nbsp;Longitude of the event determined by the MSDN-CAL method (degrees, MSDN_CAL_lon in header)</dc:description>
