<dc:description>The dataset of national standards and industry standards related to the editing and publishing of scientific journals in China is based on the publicly available information from the national public service platform for standards information. By searching and categorizing relevant standards, a preliminary standard system framework is formed for reference. Based on the dataset (v1) released in 2025, the dataset has been updated in 2026 (v2). Five newly established standards are added, including one standard for data papers, three standards for scientific data, and one standard for digital content automatic proofreading systems. Two previously established standards are added, including one standard for science and technology resource identifiers and one for translation quality. Two recently revised standards are updated, including one standard for digital content automatic proofreading systems and one for bibliographic reference. And the current status of adopted international or foreign standards are updated. The data collection is completed as of May 2026. The dataset collects 66 current and effective national standards and industry standards related to the editing and publishing of scientific journals in China (GB/T 3102 Quantities and Units is a series standard comprising 13 parts, counted as one standard), and classify the standards into categories and levels. The dataset includes data such as standard numbers, standard names, Chinese classification for standards codes, international classification for standards codes, release dates, implementation dates, release departments, responsible units, competent departments, drafting units, standard adoption status, and full-text links. The aim is to provide reference for the formulation and improvement of standards covering the whole process of scientific journals, and to provide standard query convenience for professional and technical personnel in scientific journal publishing.</dc:description>
