<dc:description>This dataset offers detailed results from a study conducted inthe southeast area of Xichou County, China, which explores the influence of vegetation restoration on soil multifunctionality, bacterial-fungal-protistan compositions and co-occurrence network complexity. The study involves 15 plots with a diverse range of vegetation types, including NF, AF, and CL, identified through extensive field evaluation. The dataset encompasses key metrics as follows:(1) Soil properties: Including sand, clay, silt, pH, soil organic carbon, total nitrogen, nitrate-nitrogen, available phosphorus, dissolved organic carbon, ammonium nitrogen, soil water content, total phosphorus, available potassium, exchangeable sodium concentration, exchangeable magnesium concentration, available Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn.(2) Soil microbial traits: Including microbial biomass carbon, microbial biomass nitrogen, soil respiration, β-1,4-Glucosidase, β-1,4-xylosidase, β-D-Cellobiohydrolase, Leucine amino peptidase, β-1,4-N-Acetyl-glucosaminidase, Acid phosphomonoesterase, Peroxidas, Phenol oxidase.(3) Soil multifunctionality.</dc:description>
