2025-05-30 The Neural Mechanisms of Mental Fatigue Under Cognitive Load: A Field Study Based on EEG Entropy and Spectral Analysis doi:10.57760/sciencedb.25915 en This dataset was collected from a 20-day field experiment conducted at an oil and gas drilling site in Southwest China. The study aimed to investigate the effects of different levels of cognitive workload on mental fatigue among operators in high-risk working environments. A within-subject design was employed, and multi-channel electroencephalogram (EEG) data were collected from eight drillers under high, low, and no cognitive workload conditions. Each participant underwent repeated measurements across two rotating shift cycles.
