  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>The dataset associated with this study contains all the raw and processed data supporting the findings reported in the manuscript &amp;ldquo;Role of metal ion promoters in carbon nanotubes functionalization by polydopamine in the perspective of electroplated copper&amp;ndash;carbon composites.&amp;rdquo;, which has been accepted and will be published on RSC &amp;quot;Reaction Chemistry &amp;amp; Engineering&amp;quot;1. Research background and data generation:The data were generated within the framework of a study investigating the effect of Cu&amp;sup2;⁺ and Ni&amp;sup2;⁺ ions on the polydopamine (PDA) functionalization of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and their subsequent incorporation into electroplated Cu&amp;ndash;CNT composites. The dataset includes the chemical characterization of the modified CNTs..2. Data content and structure:_.txt &amp;ndash; text files containing raw XPS spectra exported directly from the acquisition software. Columns correspond to binding energy (eV) and intensity (a.u.), suitable for reprocessing or comparison.CNT_oxidized.xlsx &amp;ndash; spreadsheet compiling structural data extracted from TEM analyses (CNT diameter, number of walls, standard deviation, and derived specific surface area).oxidation.opju &amp;ndash; OriginLab project file containing the Raman spectroscopy datasets for all CNT samples. The file includes the raw intensity vs. Raman shift (cm⁻&amp;sup1;) data, baseline correction procedures, and plotted spectra used in the manuscript figures.pristine200.opju &amp;ndash; OriginLab project file containing thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) data. &amp;ldquo;Book1&amp;rdquo; includes temperature (&amp;deg;C), mass (%) and derivative mass loss (%/&amp;deg;C) data for each sample, along with graph representations.Seq_Spec_Compare.pdf &amp;ndash; compiled TEM&amp;ndash;EDX analysis report summarizing the elemental mapping and line-scan profiles of the Cu&amp;ndash;CNT composites, including image references and quantitative atomic percentages.4. Column names and meaning (example for .opju files):mass: measurement mass in %temperature: measurement temperature in &amp;ordm;C5. Data value and reuse potential:These data allow reproduction of the quantitative analyses presented in the paper (surface composition, functionalization yield, electrodeposition behavior) and can be reused to benchmark PDA-based functionalization kinetics or to compare electrochemical response under similar conditions in other metal/CNT systems.</dc:description>
