2025-07-25 Microbial composition of water, sediment, and soil in different sampling sites of the Old Course of Yellow River (Shangqiu Section) at the genus level doi:10.57760/sciencedb.28363 en Water samples, sediment samples, and soil samples were collected from 4 sampling sites (A-Fanzhuang Village, C-Linqi Reservoir, D-Forest Park, F-Liuyang Village) along the Old Course of Yellow River (Shangqiu Section). For each sampling site, 1 water sample, 1 sediment sample and 9 soil samples were collected in triplicate. Within each soil site, 3 sampling points were taken at distributed straight-line distances of 10 m (s10), 50 m (s50) and 100 m (s100) from the riverbank. Around each point, 3 random soil sub-samples were collected using a plastic spoon from the corresponding depths (cm) of 0–20 (top), 20–40 (middle), and 40–60 (bottom).
