<dc:title>Precision Imaging Essential Tremor (PIET) dataset</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.28935</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>Dataset description:Participants.&amp;nbsp;A total of 45 ET patients (mean age = 62.02 &amp;plusmn; 13.10 years, 15 females) were recruited from HPPH, China. The inclusion criteria included being aged 22 years or above and a confirmed diagnosis of ET. Exclusion criteria comprised the following: (a) MRI contraindications; (b) presence of any other neurodegenerative disease, such as Parkinson-plus syndromes; and (c) a history of neuropsychiatric disorders aside from ET, including stroke, cerebrovascular disease, seizures, and psychosis.MRI acquisition.&amp;nbsp;Participants underwent one structural MRI scan lasting 8 minutes and 50 seconds, and five&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;scans, each spanning 6 minutes and 14 seconds, resulting in a cumulative scan duration of 31 minutes and 10 seconds. MRI was performed using a Siemens 3T Prisma MRI scanner equipped with a 64-channel head coil. The structural scans involved T1-weighted images acquired through a MP2RAGE sequence (TI1 = 755 ms, TI2 = 2500 ms, TE = 3.43 ms, TR = 5,000 ms, flip angle1 = 4&amp;deg;, flip angle2 = 5&amp;deg;, matrix size = 256 &amp;times;256, 208 sagittal slices, spatial resolution = 1 &amp;times; 1 &amp;times; 1 mm3). An acceleration factor of 3 (with 32 reference lines) was applied in the primary phase encoding direction, with online GRAPPA image reconstruction. RsfMRI data were acquired using a gradient-echo echo planar imaging (GE-EPI) sequence (TE = 35 ms, TR = 2,000 ms, flip angle = 80&amp;ordm;, and 75 slices, spatial resolution = 2.2 &amp;times; 2.2 &amp;times; 2.2 mm3). During data acquisition, participants were instructed to maintain their eyes open, remain awake while keeping their body still, and minimize head movement.</dc:description>
