2026-10-08 Supplementary Data for the Global Algal-associated Microbiomes Gene Atlas: Gene Catalog, Functional Annotations, and Analysis Scripts doi:10.57760/sciencedb.30914 en This dataset contains supplementary materials supporting the study “A global gene atlas reveals lineage-biased functional specialization across algal-associated microbiomes.” It includes the Algal-associated Microbiomes Reference Gene Catalog with comprehensive gene annotations, CAZyme predictions, microbial taxonomic profiles, and intermediate files necessary to reproduce all figures presented in the study. Additionally, custom scripts used for data analysis are provided to ensure reproducibility. Metadata for the 7,729 non-redundant MAGs are available separately in Supplementary Data 2, while details on supplementary figures and protein sequences can be found in Supplementary Data 3. All metagenomic data used in this work have been previously published and are listed in Supplementary Data 1.
