<dc:description>This dataset compiles the experimental and theoretical results supporting the manuscript “Single-Well Radial Injection in Dual-Layer Aquifers: A Theoretical and Experimental Investigation of Remedial Agent Transport Uniformity,” intended for submission to Water Resources Research (WRR). The experiments investigate single-well radial injection of remedial agents in dual-layer aquifers with contrasting hydraulic conductivities, under varying sand combinations (Sand A–C), polymer formulations (PM250 and PM250+XG series), and imposed hydraulic head differences. The data quantify radial displacement distances, sweep efficiencies and fluid-sweep uniformity factors under different injection scenarios. The Excel file contains five worksheets: (1) Basic data – fundamental properties of the three sand media, including grain-size range, effective grain size (d10), median grain size (d50), effective porosity, bulk density, hydraulic conductivity and permeability, together with basic hydraulic characteristics of the polymer systems in each medium; (2) polymer concentration – radial displacement distances and sweep efficiencies for different polymer concentrations; (3) dual-layer combinations – theoretical and measured displacement fronts, front differences and fluid-sweep uniformity factors for various dual-layer sand combinations; (4) hydraulic head difference – effects of inter-layer hydraulic head differences on radial front propagation, front differences and sweep uniformity; (5) 1PV-Total PV – displacement and sweep efficiency data at one pore volume (1PV) injected and at the total injected pore volume (Total PV).The dataset covers all numbers used in Figures 2–8 and Table 1 of the main text, as well as Tables S1–S4 in the Supporting Information, and can be used to reproduce the published results and to benchmark models of radial injection in layered aquifers.</dc:description>
