<dc:description>The photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2) into high-value-added chemicals represents a promising strategy to address the energy crisis and global warming. Ag and CuxO nanoparticle co-modified zeolite TS-1 (Ag-CuxO/TS-1) were successfully synthesized via a combined ion exchange and in-situ reduction approach. Under simulated solar light irradiation, the optimized Ag-CuxO/TS-1 catalyst achieves efficient CO2-to-C2H4 conversion. Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns were collected using a Rigaku SmartLab diffractometer with Cu Kα radiation (40 kV, 40 mA) at a scanning rate of 4°/min. The morphology and microstructure of the materials were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM, ZEISS Sigma 360) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM, JEOL JEM-2010). The valence states of elements were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS, Thermo Scientific). Nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms were measured at -196 °C using a Micromeritics ASAP 3020 instrument. UV-Vis spectra were recorded using a V-570 (JASCO) spectrophotometer. CO2-temperature-programmed desorption (CO2-TPD) and O2-temperature-programmed desorption (O2-TPD) were performed on a Micromeritics Chemisorb 2750. Photoluminescence (PL) spectra were obtained using a Shimadzu RF-6000 spectrofluorophotometer. In situ Raman signals were recorded using a HORIBA instrument with a 325 nm excitation wavelength. The photoelectrochemical properties of the catalysts were evaluated using an electrochemical workstation (CHI 660A).</dc:description>
