<dc:description>This study first collected all original tweets and retweets-with-comments from 1,521 Twitter accounts, which represented a total of 864 U.S. legislators who were incumbent from the 112th to 117th Congress. The logic of account selection is that 1) the legislator or their team has verified the account, or 2) the account is unverified but has posted official links of the legislator in the self-introduction and also has clear interactions with other verified legislators’ accounts. </dc:description>
