<dc:title>Geometric Parameters and Discharge Coefficient Calculation Dataset for Large-Throat Critical Flow Venturi Nozzles</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.33407</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset originates from the research paper &amp;quot;Calculation Method for Discharge Coefficient of Large-Throat Venturi Nozzles Under Critical Flow Conditions&amp;quot;. It is designed to address the challenge of calculating the discharge coefficient for critical flow Venturi nozzles with throat diameters &amp;ge; 50 mm, which cannot be directly calibrated by physical flow due to facility limitations. The dataset includes high-precision geometric measurement data for two stainless steel nozzles with nominal throat diameters of 51.960 mm and 73.460 mm. It also contains the necessary physical property parameters and operating conditions (such as stagnation pressure, stagnation temperature, gas constant, dynamic viscosity) for the calculations. Furthermore, the dataset provides the complete computational process and results for the discharge coefficient using two proposed methods: the Ideal Mass Flow Rate Method and the Mass Flow Iterative Method. The data is presented in structured Excel spreadsheets, detailing the complete chain from geometric parameter input, intermediate variable calculation, to the final discharge coefficient and uncertainty evaluation. This dataset serves as empirical support for verifying the reliability of geometry-based discharge coefficient calculation methods and is suitable for research and education in gas flow metrology, standard device development, and related fields.</dc:description>
