<dc:title>circRNA_013145–miR-185-5p–RhoA Axis: A Novel Mechanism in the Pathophysiology of Diabetes-induced Erectile Dysfunction</dc:title>

<dc:description>	Circular RNAs significantly impact the pathophysiology of various disorders, but their role in diabetes-induced erectile dysfunction remains unclear. We examined circular RNA expression profiles in diabetes-induced erectile dysfunction rats, identifying 641 upregulated and 647 downregulated circular RNAs. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction revealed elevated circRNA_013145 levels in rat penile tissues and in high glucose-induced corpus cavernosum smooth muscle cells and human umbilical vein endothelial cells. Bioinformatics analyses identified the circRNA_013145-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network and its link to the cGMP-PKG and cAMP pathways. Interference with circRNA_013145 in high glucose-induced cells reduced inflammation, oxidative stress, phenotypic transformation, and apoptosis. Further assays confirmed that circRNA_013145 regulates RhoA by sponging miR-185-5p. Silencing circRNA_013145 improved diabetes-induced erectile dysfunction symptoms in rats, suggesting it as a potential therapeutic target. </dc:description>
