<dc:title>Dataset for Manuscript: Enhanced Photocatalytic Degradation of Sunset Yellow Dye using Novel SrFe12O19/PANI/Graphene Nanoplatelets Ternary Nanocomposite under Visible-Light and Visible Light/H2O2 Irradiation</dc:title>

<dc:description>Persistent synthetic azo dyes discharged from textile and food-processing industries represent a critical class of recalcitrant water pollutants owing to their aromatic conjugation, sulfonate functionalization, and resistance to conventional biological treatment. Heterogeneous photocatalysis constitutes a promising advanced oxidation strategy for their remediation; however, the practical deployment of single-phase photocatalysts remains constrained by wide optical bandgaps and high electron-hole recombination rates. The present dataset supports a systematic investigation into the synthesis, physicochemical characterization, and photocatalytic performance of a novel ternary SrFe₁₂O₁₉/PANI/Graphene Nanoplatelets (SPG) nanocomposite, prepared via in situ chemical oxidative polymerization, and evaluated toward the degradation of the anionic sulfonated azo dye Sunset Yellow (SY) under visible-light and visible-light/H₂O₂ irradiation. The dataset comprises source data underlying five key quantitative results reported in the manuscript. Optical bandgap data derived from Tauc plot analysis of UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra (Fig. 4) document the reduction in direct bandgap energy from 3.38 eV for pristine SrFe₁₂O₁₉ to 2.53 eV for the SPG ternary nanocomposite, attributable to interfacial charge-transfer states at the SFO–PANI heterojunction and the π-conjugated graphene nanoplatelet network. Photocatalytic degradation time-series data as a function of catalyst loading (Fig. 8) and initial SY concentration (Fig. 9) quantify the dependence of degradation efficiency on operational parameters under optimal conditions (pH = 3, visible-light/H₂O₂). Linearized kinetic datasets (Fig. 12) confirm adherence to a pseudo-first-order Langmuir–Hinshelwood mechanism, with rate constants extracted from ln(C₀/Cₜ) versus time plots under both visible-light and light/H₂O₂ irradiation conditions. Electrochemical source data from cyclic voltammetry experiments (Fig. 13), conducted in 0.1 M potassium ferricyanide over a −1.0 to +0.7 V potential window, document the superior interfacial charge-transport characteristics of the SPG nanocomposite relative to bare SrFe₁₂O₁₉.Collectively, these datasets substantiate the principal claims of the manuscript, namely that ternary integration of strontium hexaferrite with polyaniline and graphene nanoplatelets yields a photocatalytic architecture with enhanced visible-light harvesting, suppressed charge recombination, and a degradation efficiency of 97.28% toward Sunset Yellow within 90 minutes under light/H₂O₂ irradiation.</dc:description>
