<dc:description>We submitted the Chinese field survey data (village level) on Oncomelania hupensis, including daily min, mean, and max temperatures for each survey site. This dataset is really precise. The field surveys were conducted according to a multiple-stage method. A systematic sampling method was employed in areas with documented O. hupensis occurrences over the past two years. An environmental sampling method was used in environments with no recent record of O. hupensis occurrences, but the snail infestation was reasonably suspected. data1: field survey data; data2-4: min, mean, and max temperatures. ID: ID; date: the survey date; density: snail density of each village surveyed; tmp_cold: min temperature; tmp: mean tempeature; tmp_hot: max temperaturemore detailed information was seen in the readme. All temperature data can be assessed from ERA5.</dc:description>
