Intraoperative data encompassed intraoperative blood loss and spleen preservation status. Postoperative data involved amylase levels in abdominal drainage fluid on postoperative day 3 and beyond, postoperative treatment and nursing measures, as well as the occurrence, type, and severity of postoperative complications (graded by the Clavien-Dindo classification system), total hospital stay, postoperative hospital stay, total hospitalization cost, 30-day readmission rate, and 30-day mortality.
