2026-05-25 Global land gridded dataset of daily surface air temperatures (Z2025) doi:10.57760/sciencedb.37524 en This dataset spans the period from 1900 to 2024 and includes four core variables: daily maximum temperature (Tmax), daily minimum temperature (Tmin), daily mean temperature (Tavg), and diurnal temperature range (DTR). It was generated by integrating global in situ surface air temperature (SAT) station observations with a global terrain elevation dataset. The angular distance weighting method was adopted to interpolate the station‑observed SAT records onto regular latitude‑longitude grids, wherein the weight of each contributing station is calculated as a function of its distance and relative angle to the center of the target grid cell.
