<dc:title>A setting up of parameter optimization of the NMH-CS model</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.37869</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset provides a fully configured and executable package of the NMH‑CS model (a member of the Noah‑MP land surface model family) coupled with the eco‑evolutionary optimality (EEO) photosynthesis scheme. It includes the model source code, pre‑compiled binaries, runtime environment settings, and all necessary driving data for the parameter optimization experiments over the grasslands of the Yellow River Basin (YRB). The meteorological forcing was extracted from the China Meteorological Forcing Dataset, and the evaluation references are remote sensing‑derived 8‑day Leaf Area Index (LAI) and Gross Primary Production (GPP) products at 49 selected grid cells. All these are stored in time series. The package implements four optimization configurations combining two acclimation timescales (15‑day vs. long‑term climatological acclimation) with two settings of the electron transport cost factor *c* (the default 0.41 vs. spatially optimized values).</dc:description>
