<dc:title>Raw Data for the Analysis of Heavy Metal Concentrations in Tissues of Dominant Fish from the Midstream of the Jialing River</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.38141</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset provides measured concentrations of six heavy metals (Cd, Pb, As, Sb, Cu, Zn) in the muscle, liver, and gill tissues of nine common dominant fish species collected from the midstream of the Jialing River. A total of 72 individual fish (eight per species) were sampled. The nine fish species (with authorities) are as follows:Siniperca chuatsi&amp;nbsp;(Basilewsky, 1855),&amp;nbsp;Hemibagrus macropterus&amp;nbsp;Bleeker, 1870,&amp;nbsp;Leiocassis crassilabris&amp;nbsp;G&amp;uuml;nther, 1864,&amp;nbsp;Saurogobio dabryi&amp;nbsp;Bleeker, 1871,&amp;nbsp;Hemibarbus maculatus&amp;nbsp;Bleeker, 1871,&amp;nbsp;Carassius auratus&amp;nbsp;(Linnaeus, 1758),&amp;nbsp;Cyprinus carpio&amp;nbsp;Linnaeus, 1758,&amp;nbsp;Xenocypris davidi&amp;nbsp;Bleeker, 1871,&amp;nbsp;Ctenopharyngodon idellus&amp;nbsp;(Valenciennes, 1844).The data support analyses of tissue-specific metal distribution, interspecific differences, and potential ecological and food safety risks.</dc:description>
