2026-06-11 Thermogenetics in adult mouse cardiomyocytes: electrophysiology and calcium imaging data. doi:10.57760/sciencedb.38363 en The dataset contains patch-clamp electrophysiology and Fluo-4 calcium imaging recordings from isolated adult mouse ventricular cardiomyocytes. The cells were obtained from C57BI/6J mice transdused with AAV-PHP.S serotype viruses with pAAV_cTnT_hTRPV1-3xFLAG at a MOI of 6x10^11 VG/mouse. Action potentials were evoked by both current injection and local heating, and the resulting intracellular calcium signals were captured as high-resolution, high-frequency calcium waves. Data from wild-type control and TRPV1-expressing cells are included for direct comparison. All recordings support the study "Thermogenetics for cardiac pacing" and provide a resource for examining thermogenetic control of cardiac excitability and calcium handling.
