<dc:title>Urban Heat Island Intensity Dataset of China from 2001 to 2023</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.38506</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset is derived from daily raw surface temperature data provided by the MOD11A1 V6.1 product. Using the GEE platform, seasonal and day-night surface temperature data were processed. Combining this with a method for calculating urban heat island intensity, patches with low levels of human disturbance (such as farmland, shrubland, and grassland) and areas with low nighttime light brightness were selected as heat island background values to calculate relative surface temperatures that characterize urban heat island intensity. This dataset has a spatial resolution of 1000 m and includes seasonal and day-night characteristics. It is stored in the format &amp;quot;China_d(n)_01c(x/q/d).tif&amp;quot;, where &amp;quot;d(n)&amp;quot; represents day and night, respectively, and &amp;quot;01c(x/q/d)&amp;quot; represents spring (summer/autumn/winter) of 2001, and the data covers the years 2001, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020, and 2023.</dc:description>
