<dc:title>Raw Data for the Study on Current Situation and Group Differences of Professional Commitment and Employment Anxiety Among Students in Applied Private Colleges and Universities</dc:title>

<dc:description>This study targeted undergraduate students from a private applied university in Qingdao as research participants. Stratified random sampling was adopted, and questionnaire surveys were distributed via Wenjuanxing in December 2025. A total of 2,980 questionnaires were issued, and 2,452 valid responses were retrieved. All collected data were processed and analyzed using SPSS 26.0 statistical software.First, normality tests revealed that the data followed a skewed distribution; thus, nonparametric tests were primarily employed for subsequent analyses. After invalid data cleaning, the reliability of the scales and common method bias were examined. On this basis, descriptive statistics were conducted to present the current status of core variables. Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test were used to analyze group differences in each variable across demographic factors, including gender, hometown, major category, grade and educational level.Pearson correlation analysis and partial correlation analysis were applied to explore the correlations between variables. Hierarchical regression analysis was further adopted to test the predictive effect of professional commitment on employment anxiety while controlling for demographic variables, so as to clarify the relationships among the research variables.</dc:description>
