<dc:title>Cr:ZnS/ZnSe Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (MOPA) System Dataset</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.38960</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset records the key optical performance test results of a femtosecond amplification system based on a Cr:ZnS/ZnSe MOPA (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier). The data were collected from a typical femtosecond laser amplification setup, including the oscillator, single-stage ZnSe amplifier, two-stage amplifier, and characterization data of related optical components. All experimental data were acquired using instruments such as a spectrometer, power meter, oscilloscope (equipped with a photodetector), and beam quality analyzer. The raw data were processed and plotted using Origin software and saved as .opju project files. The data acquisition time is not specified, but the data represent typical system performance under stable operating conditions. Systematic errors introduced by measurement equipment may exist, but specific errors are not individually annotated in the files. The contents of each .opju file included in the dataset are as follows:Two-Stage Spectrum.opju: Contains comparative data of the output spectrum after two-stage amplification and the seed spectrum. Wavelength unit: nm, intensity unit: a.u.Crystal Doping Concentration.opju: Records the gain or efficiency data corresponding to different doping concentrations of Cr:ZnS/ZnSe crystals.Transmittance.opju: Records the transmittance of Cr:ZnS/ZnSe at different wavelengths. In addition, this dataset includes figures characterizing the temporal, spectral, spatial, and stability performance of the dual-stage MOPA system. The descriptions of each figure are as follows:Interferometric Autocorrelation of Amplified Pulses: Contains the measured interferometric autocorrelation trace along with the fitted curve. The extracted pulse width is &amp;Delta;&amp;tau;_AC = 1.54 &amp;times; 78 fs. The horizontal axis represents delay (unit: fs), and the vertical axis represents intensity (unit: a.u.).Autocorrelation Trace Comparison: Compares the autocorrelation traces of seed pulses from the oscillator and amplified pulses after Stage 2. The horizontal axis represents delay (unit: fs), and the vertical axis represents intensity (unit: a.u.).Spectra Comparison: Compares the spectra of seed pulses from the oscillator and amplified pulses after Stage 2. The horizontal axis represents wavelength (unit: nm), and the vertical axis represents intensity (unit: a.u.).Beam Quality Characterization: Shows the beam radii of amplified pulses in the x and y directions as a function of distance. The extracted M&amp;sup2; factors are M_x&amp;sup2; = 1.34 and M_y&amp;sup2; = 1.44. The horizontal axis represents distance (unit: mm), and the vertical axis represents beam radius (unit: &amp;mu;m, implied).Seed Pulse Power Stability: Records the power fluctuation of seed pulses over time. The RMS stability is &amp;Delta;RMS = 1.85%. The horizontal axis represents time (unit: min), and the vertical axis represents power (unit: W).Dual-Stage Amplified Output Power Stability: Records the power fluctuation of the dual-stage amplifier output over time. The RMS stability is &amp;Delta;RMS = 2.12%. The horizontal axis represents time (unit: min), and the vertical axis represents power (unit: W).All data are experimental measurements with no artificial missing values. This dataset is suitable for performance evaluation of femtosecond laser amplification systems, validation of crystal amplifier designs, and ultrafast optics research.</dc:description>
