<dc:title>Pt/g-C3N4/ZIF-67 Catalyst Efficiently Catalyzed Selective Hydrogenation of Cinnamaldehyde under Mild Conditions</dc:title>

  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>A support material, ZIF-CN, was constructed by combining carbon nitride (g-C3N4) with the ZIF-67 metal-organic framework. Platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) were then loaded onto this support to produce the Pt/ZIF-CN catalyst. The structure, morphology, and electronic properties of the material were systematically characterized using XRD, FT-IR, SEM, TEM, XPS, and N2 adsorption-desorption techniques. Results indicate the presence of electron transfer between the support and Pt. Employing the 5.0%Pt/ZIF-CN catalyst for the selective hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde (CAL) under conditions of ethanol as solvent, 2.0 MPa H2, and 30 &amp;deg;C for 60 min, the catalyst demonstrated high catalytic activity and selectivity near ambient temperature. The conversion rate of cinnamaldehyde reached 84.3%, with cinnamyl alcohol (COL) selectivity reaching 90.3%. The catalyst demonstrated excellent cycling stability over five reaction cycles.</dc:description>
