<dc:title>Data for grazing effects on multifunctionality in mesic karst grasslands</dc:title>
  <dc:identifier>doi:10.57760/sciencedb.39424</dc:identifier>
  <dc:language>en</dc:language>
<dc:description>This dataset is used to organize data at the sample scale to support the paper &amp;quot;Grazing strengths climate soil plant coupling with multifunctionality in meso karst grasslands&amp;quot;. The data is sourced from field surveys of natural grasslands in Guizhou Province from 2021 to 2022, and integrates remote sensing ecosystem indicators, soil data, climate data, and terrain data. The dataset contains 661 plot records, with main variables including plot number, survey year, grazing status, altitude, slope, plant community attributes, soil physicochemical properties, carbon function, nitrogen function, phosphorus function, and ecosystem multifunctionality index. Among them, grazing status is represented by 0 and 1, where 0 represents the ungrazed plot and 1 represents the grazed plot. The ecosystem multifunctionality index is composed of aboveground biomass NDVI、NPP、 Eight functional indicators, including soil organic carbon, total nitrogen, alkali hydrolyzed nitrogen, total phosphorus, and available phosphorus, were calculated after standardization. This dataset is mainly used to compare the changes in ecosystem multifunctionality and its coupling relationship with climate, soil, and plant driving factors under ungrazed and grazed conditions. It can support statistical analysis such as non parametric testing, variance decomposition, model selection, and confirmatory path analysis.&amp;nbsp;</dc:description>
