2026-06-23 Genome assembly of the ectomycorrhizal fungus Thelephora ganbajun doi:10.57760/sciencedb.39504 en This dataset contains the de novo whole-genome assembly of the ectomycorrhizal fungus Thelephora ganbajun, generated in this study. Genomic DNA was extracted from fruiting bodies collected in Yunnan Province, southwestern China, during field surveys conducted between 2022 and 2024. The genome was sequenced and assembled de novo. Among the three Thelephora species compared in the associated study, T. ganbajun has the most compact genome.The dataset provides the genome assembly in FASTA format, together with a README file describing the file content, format and size. These data support comparative and population genomic studies of ecological niche differentiation in Thelephora.
